Before blogs, before The Chaser, before podcasting, before the death or irony, before the bitterness of freelancing, there was DEAD PIG DIGEST!!!!

Between 1995 and 1996 while I was still in high school, I co-wrote a fortnightly e-zine called Dead Pig Digest with my class mate, future RAW comedy 2nd place winner Sam Bowring.
After accosting people in chat rooms, we soon had several hundred subscribers from around the world (we were very popular in South Africa for some reason and even had our own fan-run tribute site) with our insane rants about a made up religion centering around Bruce, the decomposing pig in our backyard, AAAARGH (famous last words) and SNOUTLINE, which would eventually become the Banana Report column. And a whole lot of dodgy ASCII art. Now, for posterity's sake I bring you all the back issues of Dead Pig Digest in all their glory (the original website was taken down by the ISP for using up too much bandwidth circa 1996!). Enjoy!
